NEW! New to the edcentre, Grade 10, 11, and 12 Summer School options.

This year the edcentre online school is offering a variety of Grade 10, 11 and 12 courses in the summer. These classes will run from  July 5th, – August 20th, 2021.

The summer school courses are designed to be worked on consistently but with flexibility in the time of day the course can be accessed (asynchronous learning).  This means that students will have access to their online class 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Everything that a student needs to complete a class is online. As a student you will need to be able to work independently through your class. Work will consist of reading lessons, watching videos, completing online quizzes, and submitting a variety of assignments online. A teacher will be available to assist students in this class and students are able to make appointments with them for one – on – one tutoring in the classes they are taking. These meetings will be done virtually. However, it will be up to the student to do the bulk of the work independently and to stick to a study schedule. Students will gain access to their summer school classes on July 5th and have until 4:00 p.m. on August 20th to complete the class. Summer school classes are 100 hours of study/work. Students need to budget their time wisely to complete the required work.

For more information on these classes please review and consider the information package for parents/guardians and students posted as a button below.
